I have rescently moved back into school (uncc), and have started off the semester. This week has been fun and a headache all at the same time. The fun part has been getting to know my 3 new completely random roommates, which i have say they are way different than last years roommates. this year i'm actually going to get to bed on time and not have to put up with a drug addicted drunk. the headache has been buying my out ragously expensive books and getting my schedule straightened out, which unfortunately resulted in me having a class on friday at 8am; when i had no class on friday to begin with. tonight we had a great planning session with the youth leaders where we planned all the way up to april, which has to be some kind of blessing considering johnathan usually just plans week to week(haha). ive been very excited lately about all the video opportunities that have come up and the volunteers that we have had come in to be apart of the video ministry. ive really been excited to be able to incorporate video in with the youth b/c i sure know one thing, running sound was not the gift God gave me. i just pray that God will continue to guide me as i put these video's together and that they will get His msg across and not my msg. LIFE IS GOOD!

i just worked for over 12 hrs in a pizza place. i really want a new job.

we finally made it home from NYC. this trip was truely amazing. God really worked on me while i was up there especially in the area of humility. ive been on mission trips before but for some reason i was dealing with alot of pride issues on this one and i once realized it wasnt about me and the more i began to focus on Him, i began to see how He can really use me, not only in NYC but here at home in my everyday life as well. all in all good times were had, lives were changed, and now we have been given the tools to effectively serve those in our community and get them connected in a practical and relevent way.

im leaving in 9 hrs for NYC. im really excited to see what God has instore for our group. we will be there for 6 days. please pray for our safety in travel and for us as a group. until i return.
